About Rock the Range – Qualicum Beach & the Rob Pattee Charity Scramble

Rock the Range – Qualicum Beach and the Rob Pattee Charity Scramble started with a simple idea: bring people together, have a great time, and raise money for a couple of good causes. What began as a plan to support meaningful charities grew into a full community event that combines a golf tournament and an evening concert at the beautiful Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club.

Presented by Quality Foods, PacWest Artist Agency, Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club, and Moments Hospitality, the event is held in honour of Rob Pattee and is all about bringing the community together for a day of golf, live music, and giving back. The weekend begins with a welcome reception and registration at Qualicum Beach Café, followed by the Rob Pattee Charity Scramble at Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club. After the tournament, players gather for a banquet and awards before the evening concert kicks off on the driving range.
Not golfing? No problem. The concert is open to everyone, giving the whole community a chance to come out, enjoy great live music, and support the cause.

Funds raised from the event support two organizations making a real difference in people’s lives: the BC Cancer Foundation, which funds world-class cancer research and patient care across British Columbia, and AlphaNet Canada, a non-profit organization that supports Canadians living with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, a rare genetic condition that can cause serious lung and liver disease.

2026 marks the inaugural year, with the goal of growing Rock the Range – Qualicum Beach into an annual community tradition that brings people together for golf, music, and a great causes.
